MSP means Managed Service Provider. In the ICT market it identifies companies which offer their customers a managed service covering all the necessary elements to build a functional, efficient and safe ICT infrastructure.
For medium-sized and enterprise companies, this choice brings some advantages:
- lowering the number of internal resources in ICT business unit, switching investments on core business growth;
- having only one referent for all ICT issues and requests, instead of different suppliers with different business agreements. This simplifies the administrative process;

Our services as MSP
Thorough ICT support
Our job starts with an in-depth analysis on the state of the existing ICT infrastructure and on what is needed to reach the company’s goals. We check the correct functioning of the whole infrastructure and we search for critical areas in software and security. Just to make some examples: some companies have UPS to face possible blackouts, but the UPS units are not provided with any networking interface amd therefore no remote control is possible. Sometimes in the company directory we find users profiles who no longer work in that company but still have active accounts. These are vulnerabilities, that we can fix.
Once the analysis is complete, we provide our customer with a personalized configuration and a prospect of all the service and SLA we can offer
When the agreement is done, the support is activated with the constant remote-monitoring of the infrastructure. When technical assistance is needed, our team can manage it with our ticketing platform. Technical assistance is then provided either on-site or using remote-access tools.
We also define a planning for periodic checks, hardware maintainance and software updates.
Security
The MSP is in charge for the security of data and ICT infrastructure. CyberEdge manages the secure password storage function, the users’ authorization process, the monitoring of all devices and network, and the correct backup procedures. It’s our task to choose, install and maintain the cybersecurity procedures and tools, which are more suitable to each company, this includes antivirus systems and Unified threat management
Business Continuity
Cyberedge’s goal is to minimize any emergency and that’s why we cooperate with the customer in the definition of Business Continuity procedures- We take care of programmed backups, secure data storage and disaster recovery procedures. But as we know that users’ behaviours can involuntarily create issues to daily operations, the service offered by Cyberedge includes training activities and simulations of attacks and service interruptions, in order to involve all personnel and instill the principle of responsibility based on a zero-trust approach.
Cloud Migration
Cloud migration is today a quite typical event in almost every company, but only a portion of them are fully aware of the how the Cloud can develop its full potential to support their business model. In Cyberedge we aim at driving our customers through the migration path, helping them choose the most suitable solution for their specific needs, balancing performance, security, scalability and support.
